A candidate for the 26th State Senate district will take questions from the UCLA and West Los Angeles communities on Reddit Monday night, eight days before the general election.

Sandra Fluke, a human rights lawyer and advocate, will participate in a Reddit Ask Me Anything, or AMA, session, facilitated by Daily Bruin staff and organized by UCLA Government and Community Relations. The event is meant to give students a way to learn more about the candidates.

The 26th State Senate District encompasses Westwood. Because Sen. Ted Lieu (D-Torrance), who represented the district, is running for Congress, there is no incumbent running for reelection.

Ben Allen, another candidate and a lecturer at the UCLA School of Law, is not participating in the AMA because of a time conflict.

To participate in the AMA, individuals must sign up for an account on Reddit.
