The Undergraduate Students Association Council is the official student government of UCLA’s undergraduate students. Council meetings are Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in Kerckhoff 417 and are open to all students. Watch a live stream of the meeting on the USAC Live! YouTube channel.
Agenda
- The council approved contingency programming allocations with an 11-0-0 vote.
- The council approved the USAC spring election results with an 11-0-0 vote.
- The council talked for three hours after the meeting had adjourned about their experiences on USAC this year and gave advice to incoming councilmembers.

- USAC Campus Events Commissioner Jessica Kim presented a PowerPoint of photos of her office’s work throughout the 2013-2014 school year.
Officer Reports
- USAC President John Joanino presented a video of his office’s work this year.
- Internal Vice President Avi Oved said he met with internal vice president-elect Avinoam Baral to talk about outreach efforts to student groups and ideas about making Ally Week a year-round event next school year. He added that his office is still working to launch a campus safety app.
- External Vice President Maryssa Hall said her office is working to partner with the University of California regents to talk about issues brought up by Senate Constitutional Amendment 5, an affirmative action measure.
- Academic Affairs Commissioner Darren Ramalho said his office will review Undergraduate Student Initiated Education applications this week to select a group of third- and fourth-year students to develop lower division seminars for students. He added that he plans to continue meeting with Allyson Bach, next year’s Academic Affairs commissioner, to talk about diversity-related issues, online classes and peer learning.
