Food trucks with gourmet hot dogs and experimental grilled cheeses will open for business in Westwood’s North Village Thursday night.
The new event – Late Night Landfair – is set to run from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m on Landfair and Roebling avenues. The vendors will include The Mighty Boba Truck, The Grilled Cheese Truck and Dogtown Dog.
Students will be able to choose from menus featuring about 15 versions of grilled cheese sandwiches and almost 30 flavors of boba tea. Vendors also typically sell hot dogs, including some with beef, avocado, arugula, basil aioli and fried onions combined into one bun.
Sunny Singh, the Undergraduate Students Association Council General Representative 2, organized the event.
Singh said Late Night Landfair is in its initial stages, and his office may put together another event if Thursday night is successful.
“Hopefully (Late Night Landfair) can continue to grow and be a part of the UCLA culture,” Singh said.

Great idea. Thanks for doing something productive as a council member. Now please work with the community leaders to fix the stacked parking please. We need a parking garage built in north village, not another apartment building.
Great idea
Will they have azn food?
