  • USAC External Vice President Maryssa Hall presented to the council about one of the campaigns students chose to pursue at the recent University of California Student Association congress. The campaign, Invest in Graduations, Not Incarceration. Transform Education!, is commonly known as IGNITE and includes pushing for bills to reduce drug possession charges and eliminating the requirement to disclose if one was formerly incarcerated when applying for jobs or to schools.
