The death of a UCLA library employee whose body was found outside Boelter Hall Tuesday resulted from a suicide, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said today.
The man, 47-year-old Reynaldo Quitos, died from multiple traumatic injuries after he jumped off Boelter Hall, said Fred Corral, a lieutenant at the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Quitos was an assistant in the Southern Regional Library Facility, which is located near Saxon Suites across campus from Boelter Hall, said Nancy Greenstein, a spokeswoman for university police.
