UCLA’s Irish Music Ensemble, led by adjunct assistant professor Aaron Bittel in the ethnomusicology department, provides students with the opportunity to come together, play Irish music and share memories and traditions associated with the Irish tunes.

Yes, the group is open to anyone. For those who don’t already play an instrument used in Irish traditional music, we offer a beginning tinwhistle class. We meet on Thursdays at 6:00 PM in Schoenberg Music Building, Room 1440, all year long (Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters).
