Four-star recruit Cody Riley announces commitment to UCLA basketball

Class of 2017 four-star power forward Cody Riley announced his commitment to UCLA Friday afternoon.

A top-50 recruit according to both ESPN and 247Sports, Riley also received offers from Connecticut, Kansas, Oklahoma and USC. He averaged 12.5 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game last year at Sierra Canyon High School.

Before Riley’s commitment, both 247Sports and ESPN ranked UCLA’s 2017 recruiting class sixth-best in the country. The 6-foot-7 Chatsworth, California, native joins top-50 recruit point guard Jaylen Hands, top-100 recruit center Jalen Hill and three-star small forward LiAngelo Ball.
