Students can now access information about undergraduate student government officials in one place.
The USAC Office of the President introduced an official website earlier this week to give students a space to get updates about internship opportunities and events in the office, said USAC President Danny Siegel. The website provides a directory of USAC presidential appointments, contact information for officials and a portal for the newly created Committee of International Relations.
Siegel added his office created the website to present information to students in an accessible and transparent way, and give them the opportunity to find out more about specific policies and entities on campus.
“USAC has so many appointments and boards around, it’s important that when matters arise affecting our campus, students know who their representatives are in these spaces and how to post questions or share their thoughts about what’s going on,” Siegel said.

He added he thinks the website is convenient because it features the first comprehensive database of all the USAC offices and appointments.
“Normally you’d have to look up specific committees’ websites, which can be time-consuming and confusing,” Siegel said. “This is a more straightforward way to have information for everything like the ASUCLA Board of Directors or the Campus Programs Committee in one space for students.”
Siegel said students can send feedback about the website through a tab included on the site. The office will continue developing the site and they will consider student responses when making changes or improvements throughout the year.
