A police officer fired shots at a UCLA-affiliated hospital in Torrance on Saturday, police said. No further information about the shooting was immediately available.

The shooting took place about 3 p.m. at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, said LAPD spokesperson Jane Kim.

Police have yet to release how many people were involved or whether they have arrested anyone in connection to the shooting.

Police will release more information at a press conference Saturday night, Kim said.

The case is still under investigation. The story will be updated as more details are released.
