UCLA football nabbed a commitment from the No. 8 receiver in the country and a former Oregon recruit Sunday afternoon. Theo Howard, a senior at Westlake High School, made the announcement on Twitter.
Howard has been heralded for his speed and explosiveness, and has established himself as one of the top talents in Southern California.
The 6-foot recruit visited Texas A&M two weeks ago and was also considering USC. In his Twitter post, Howard said that he was planning on enrolling early and starting school this coming January.
The 2016 recruit is the 20th member of the Bruins’ incoming class, joining three other receivers ahead of the spring signing deadline.
