UCPD searching for burglary suspects who entered a student’s apartment

University police are searching for two men who entered a UCLA student’s Gayley Avenue apartment in late May and stole cash and credit cards.

The men entered the apartment on 663 Gayley Ave. about 11 p.m. May 22 and stole $150 in cash, credit cards and a silver ID holder, according to a UCPD statement.

The first man was described as white, 21 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 145 pounds with shaggy brown hair, according to the statement. He was wearing a khaki corduroy jacket and blue jeans.

The second man was described as white, 21 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 250 pounds with medium brown hair, police said in the statement. He was wearing a red and yellow flannel long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends students to secure and lock all doors and windows.
