Each weekend, the UCLA water skiing team drives to a serene lake for practice. The team consists of a national gold medal winner, a group of freshmen and a few veterans who have all come to call themselves family. They drive 1 1/2 hours every weekend to spend two full days skiing, escaping from the stressful school environment to a lake up a dirt road. After a full day of skiing, once the sun sets, they pitch their tents and grill dinner with a night full of camaraderie and laughter. Watch this video to see the UCLA water skiing team do flips and tricks in a place they call home away from home.
