iPad stolen from UCLA student’s apartment in Westwood

A UCLA student’s iPad was stolen from a Westwood apartment Sunday morning, police said.

The iPad was stolen about 9:30 a.m. Sunday near the corner of Landfair Avenue and Ophir Drive, according to a UCPD statement.

The apartment door was propped open before the unknown suspect walked in and took the iPad, police said.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends that students be aware of their surroundings and lock their windows and doors.
