Six adult male workers at UCLA were exposed to carbon monoxide on Wednesday evening during the cleanup of Tuesday’s flood, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The exposure came from a generator, said LAFD spokeswoman Katherine Main. She said the command post monitoring the situation is near Pauley Pavilion and the John Wooden Center.
Four of the men did not need to be transported by medics, and the other two were transported in fair condition, according to an LAFD alert.
The Fire Department was first notified at 6:49 p.m., Main said.
