The representation on award watch lists continued for UCLA football Thursday, as sophomore outside linebacker Myles Jack and redshirt senior inside linebacker Eric Kendricks found their names on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list, while redshirt junior center Jake Brendel was named to the Outland Trophy watch list.

The Bronko Nagurski Trophy is awarded to the nation’s top defensive player while the Outland Trophy goes to the best interior lineman, including both offensive and defensive players. The Pac-12 had the most representation for the Nagurski award out of any conference, with 18 players out of the 81 total on the list. The Pac-12’s 11 players on the Outland Trophy watch list was second among all conferences in representation. There were 64 total players on the Outland Trophy watch list.

Former Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald won both the Nagurski and the Outland Trophies last season.

All three UCLA players featured on the lists have already received recognition on lists earlier in the offseason.

Kendricks and Jack were both previously named to the Bednarik Award watch list for best defensive player, the College Football Performance Award for best linebacker and the Lott IMPACT Trophy for defensive player who makes the biggest impact. Jack also was on the Paul Hornung Award watch list for most versatile player. Brendel, meanwhile, was also named to the Rimington Award watch list for best center earlier this week.
