A laptop computer was stolen from an apartment in the North Village on Saturday morning while UCLA students were inside, according to a university police report releasedMonday.
The suspect entered the apartment on Kelton Avenue, between Ophir Drive and Gayley Avenue, through a kitchen window between 12:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Saturday and stole a resident’s Apple Macbook Pro laptop, according to the report. The suspect then left through the front door.
Police do not have a description of the suspect.
Police recommend that students keep their doors and windows locked and do not invite or allow any strangers into their rooms.
No further information was available. The incident is currently under investigation.
