Each year, the Daily Bruin runs profiles of presidential candidates in the Undergraduate Students Association Council election. Three candidates are in this year’s election, which runs from today at noon to Thursday at 6 p.m.: Taylor Bazley, John Joanino and Carly Yoshida. The candidates, all running on different slates, come from diverse backgrounds.

I think we, as students, are lucky to have three wonderful and classy candidates for President this year. I am impressed with each of their ideas, qualifications, and passions for the position. Politics aside, it’s nice to see the quality of people that UCLA can produce and inspire us all to become.
