The UCLA men’s basketball team’s season has come to an end following an 83-63 loss to Minnesota in the second round of the NCAA tournament in Austin, Texas.
Early foul trouble plagued the No. 6-seeded Bruins, who saw very little production from a frontcourt rotation of redshirt junior forwards Travis Wear and David Wear and freshman center/forward Tony Parker in the first half.
Freshman guard/forward Shabazz Muhammad led all UCLA players with 20 points, but failed to convert on each of his seven shot attempts in the first half, forcing UCLA into a 35-25 deficit heading into the tunnels.
The Bruins shot just under 32 percent from the field, one of the team’s worst shooting performances of the season.
No. 11-seeded Minnesota will play third-seeded Florida in the third round on Sunday. UCLA is now 1-2 in its last three NCAA tournament games.

Was at the game. Sad to see our team struggle the way they did. The refs did not call the game evenly either. Our fans are some of the worst fans in the nation. I wonder why they even bother to come out. They sit on their seats like stuffed animals with no emotion or sound whatsoever.
Bruin fans need to stay home and give their tickets to charity. Maybe the ghetto kids can come watch the games at Pauly and fill the seats and make some noise for our team.
