The Chinese Lunar New Year of the Snake is upon us and student organizations across campus are teaming up to prepare for what will culminate in UCLA’s annual Lunar New Year Festival on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 5–7p.m. Listen as students and Asian language and cultures Professor Hung-Hsiang Chou discuss the cultural significance behind many of the traditions practiced during the Lunar New Year.

  1. What an insightful view on the Chinese new year. Being born on the year of the snake I found this particularly appealing, like a Pazooki.
