UCLA wins third game against Minnesota

Today, No. 2 UCLA baseball won the rubber match of its opening weekend series with Minnesota. The Bruins collected 17 hits to beat the Gophers 14-1 at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Sophomore pitcher Grant Watson got the start and pitched six shutout innings, striking out a career-high eight batters to help earn the victory. Sophomore infielder Kevin Kramer had his third consecutive game with multiple runs batted in to open the season, driving in three on the day. After the game, Bruin Sports senior staffer Tyler Drohan caught up with coach John Savage, Watson and Kramer to talk about the series.
