UCLA men's basketball leads Cal Poly by two points at halftime

After a sloppy first half for the Bruins, they enter the tunnels at halftime with just a two-point lead over the Cal Poly Mustangs.

Cal Poly comes from the Big West Conference like UC Irvine, a team that took a struggling UCLA to overtime two weeks ago.

Redshirt junior forward David Wear returned to action tonight after injuring his back against Georgetown last week and subsequently sitting out the game against Georgia.

Tonight also marks freshman guard Shabazz Muhammad’s first game at Pauley Pavilion after having to sit out the first three games of the season because of violations of amateurism rules. He went 3-8 during the first half, leading UCLA in both scoring and rebounds with six points and six rebounds.
