BOULDER, Colo. “”mdash; In its first conference road game of the season, UCLA leads Colorado 21-7 at halftime.

The Bruins jumped out to a two-touchdown lead early in the second quarter thanks to redshirt freshman quarterback Brett Hundley, who scored first on a 12-yard run and later on a 17-yard pass to redshirt junior receiver Darius Bell. Hundley scored again just before the half on a one-yard run.

After gaining just 50 yards on 12 carries last week in a loss to Oregon State, redshirt senior running back Johnathan Franklin picked up where he left off in week three, racking up 97 yards on 11 carries in the first half against Colorado.

UCLA’s defense was dominant as well, holding Colorado to just 122 total yards. The Buffaloes’ only score came on a 75-yard drive early in the second quarter that saw UCLA’s defensive line get little pressure on Colorado’s junior quarterback Jordan Webb.
