A 3.3 magnitude earthquake jolted UCLA and surrounding areas early Monday morning.
The quake, which occurred around 3:30 a.m., was centered in Beverly Hills, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Police did not receive any preliminary reports of damage or injuries from the quake, officials said. The Los Angeles Fire Department went into “Earthquake Emergency Mode” shortly after the quake, where firefighters and helicopters survey the city for any signs of significant damage, according to LAFD’s blog.
