May 21, 2012 ““ Long Story Short gets a taste of the tea of Taiwan, the stories of Prime magazine’s 2012 spring edition and the spiritual messages behind spoken word poetry. As a new social change club on campus, Bruins for Taiwan strives to raise awareness regarding the struggles Taiwan faces with being recognized as an independent country.
Ginny Wu, a second-year economics student, and Robin Lee, a second-year global studies student, talk about last Thursday’s event called “Tea 101 and Tea Ritual.”
Then, Ken Huang, a second-year psychology student and photo editor of Prime, shares the quirky stories featured in the magazine, which hits newsstands tomorrow.
To end the night, Long Story Short invites Adam Provinchain, a third-year mechanical engineering student, to share his spoken word poetry with a spiritual message.
