Last week, a UCLA alum epicly proposed to his girlfriend with a flash mob on campus. This week we asked, what would be your ideal marriage proposal? Here’s what some UCLA students had to say:
Andy Thompson
Third-year, English
“I would not want my proposal to be in public. I’d be very generic and private, probably in a bedroom. I’d say, “˜I love you, will you marry me?'”
Ellisa Soberon
Second-year, undeclared
“I would want something original that you don’t see everyday. I want the person to put a lot of thought into it. Maybe he could confess his love in a ballad, serenading me in an original song.”
Jennie Hersh
Second-year, women’s studies
“I would like more of an intimate setting like a restaurant. I’d want something more simple ““ ÂI do not have a lot of demands.”
Jesse Roldan
First-year, biology
“I’d go on some cruise and after dinner, we would walk to the edge of the ship like in “˜Titanic’ and I would get on one knee, just to be classic, and propose, saying, “˜(Name), will you mary me?'”
