The inaugural season of the Pac-12 Conference kicked off Tuesday at the annual football media day. With the opening of football season came the release of the Pac-12 preseason media poll.

UCLA was picked to finish fifth out of six teams in the new South Division. The media members also projected the first Pac-12 Championship Game to feature Oregon against Arizona State. Oregon and USC were tabbed to finish first in the North and South, respectively, but USC is ineligible to participate in the postseason this year.
