For a generation of college students, the question is, “Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001?” For older generations, there is the death of John F. Kennedy, the bombing of Pearl Harbor. There are moments that define generations and people remember exactly where they were when they happened. Reporter Helen Zhao asked people around campus to share some of their memories. It turned out that some remember big moments. Others were affected by broader societal trends.
