Santos also reminded council members of the voter registration drive in Bruin Plaza on Thursday. The Rock the Vote concert will start at 7 p.m. in De Neve Plaza on Saturday.

Academic Affairs Commissioner Suza Khy is pushing a proposal to rename fees as “tuition,” an often confusing distinction in the UC system. The proposal is still awaiting approval from the Undergraduate Council and the Executive Board within the Academic Senate. Khy also announced that on Saturday, there will be free practice exams offered for graduate-level tests, such as the GRE and LSAT, at 10 a.m. in Young Hall.

President Jasmine Hill met with Robin Garrell, the past chair of the Academic Senate, and plans to meet with the new chair Ann Karagozian soon.
