On April 1, a man allegedly hugged a woman from behind and grabbed her breast near the intersection of Landfair and Gayley avenues. He then fled the scene.
Police received a late report of the incident on April 13, after receiving a call from a teaching assistant of the woman who was assaulted. The woman declined to reveal her identity to police.
The man is described as being Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and 18 to 24 years old. He is muscular, weighs about 165 pounds, and has dark eyes and gold-rimmed glasses.
Police do not believe the man is affiliated with other sexual batteries that have been reported in the UCLA area in recent months.
Anyone with information about the assault is advised to contact UCPD dispatch at 310-825-1491.
