University police have released a sketch of the man believed responsible for sexually assaulting six women between March 8 and April 7.
Police are looking for a Hispanic man who is 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall. He is estimated to weigh between 150 and 180 pounds, and is between 40 and 60 years old. He has a pot belly, brown eyes and a dark complexion, and wears either a farmer’s hat or a baseball hat.
The man waits in the path of women who are occupied with their cell phones, then grabs their crotch and flees the scene, according to a UCPD statement. The attacks have occurred in the afternoon at the north end of Westwood Village, near the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue.
A previous report claimed five women had been assaulted since March 8. Police updated this number on Friday after receiving a late report of a prior incident, according to a university spokeswoman.
