The UCLA men’s soccer team suffered its second loss in a row on Saturday, losing 1-0 to the Creighton Bluejays in Omaha, Neb.
Saturday’s loss serves as the third on the season for the No. 7 Bruins, all of which have been on the road. In addition, the Bruins were held scoreless for the second week in a row.
“Our performance today was just poor from beginning to end,” coach Jorge Salcedo said after Saturday’s match.
Creighton dominated the game offensively and outshot the Bruins 12-5, with the game’s lone goal coming in the 49th minute.
UCLA drops to 9-3-2 on the season. Next up for the Bruins is the first of three consecutive home matches to close out Pac-10 play. UCLA will take on the Oregon State Beavers on Friday, a team they defeated 3-1 earlier in the season.
