Crimewatch – April 2, 2009

BURGLARY

A bicycle was removed from the Wooden Center bicycle racks between Feb. 13 and Feb. 16, with losses totaling $350.

A suspect attempted to enter a building on the 10000 block of Kelton on Feb. 25.
U.S. currency was removed from a purse on the first floor of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on March 23, with losses totaling $200.
Two laptops and a router were removed from the fourth floor of Young Hall on March 28, with losses totaling $1,900.

DRUGS

Suspects were contacted at a pedestrian stop at Rieber Terrace after reports of the smell of marijuana coming from the area on March 27. Suspects were warned for possession of marijuana, and it was booked for destruction.
Suspect was contacted and interviewed at a pedestrian stop at Hedrick Summit after reports of the smell of marijuana coming from the area on March 27. Marijuana was booked for destruction, and the field interview report was forwarded to detectives for follow-up.
A pedestrian was contacted at a pedestrian stop on the 12000 block of Venice and taken into custody for possession of cocaine with bail set at $10,000 on March 29. Cocaine was booked for evidence.

GRAND THEFT

A bicycle was removed from the bike racks between the Engineering building and the California Nanosystems Institute on Feb. 5, with losses totaling $500.
U.S. currency was removed from a purse at Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA on March 22.
A mountain bike was removed from the Peter Ueberroth Building bike racks on March 30, with losses totaling $600.

PETTY THEFT

A white Schwinn bike was removed from Rieber Vista bike racks between Dec. 20 and Jan. 5, with losses totaling $237.
An iPod touch was removed from the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center between Jan. 31 and Feb. 3, with losses totaling $299.
A Federal Express package was removed from a building lobby on the 1300 block of Midvale Avenue on March 25, with losses totaling $376.
An unknown suspect broke a lock at Schoenberg Hall on March 25. No losses were reported.
A cell phone was removed from the UCLA School of Dentistry building on March 26, with losses totaling $350.
A wallet and cell phone were removed from Drake Stadium on March 30, with losses totaling $355.
Two spools of copper wiring were removed from a vehicle on the east side of Schoenberg Hall on March 30, with losses totaling $100.
