Dirty Dozen article shows insight
I just want to extend my thanks to Sascha Cohen for her
insightful article “Race, class, sexuality ““ oh
my!” (Jan. 10).
I’m glad to read an article by someone with an open mind
to contemporary issues.
More importantly, it saddens me to read that there are staff
members at the Los Angeles Times who are so closed-minded and
ignorant.
The benefits of having innovative courses are numerous.
However, I think one of the most important purposes of having
those type of classes on campus ““ much like Cohen mentioned
““ is to enlighten minds like that of the Los Angeles Times
article author, Charlotte Allen.
Once again, thanks to Cohen for her article.
