between May 6 and 7.
A bicycle worth $160 was stolen from the bike racks near the
Young Research Library on April 15.
Grand Theft
A $1,515 laptop computer was stolen from 515 Kelton Ave. on May
16.
Someone stole $13,500 worth of valuables after breaking into a
car at 3780 Keystone Ave. and took clothes, jewelry, a camcorder,
laptop computer and other items between May 14 and May 15.
A car was stolen in front of 443 Midvale Ave. on May 12.
Someone stole an $880 camera near the corner of Strathmore and
Landfair avenues on May 12.
Someone stole $6,000 by making unauthorized withdrawals from
someone else’s bank account in El Monte and Tarzana between
May 9 and May 10.
A laptop computer worth $2,050 was stolen from a room in the
MacDonald Medical Research Laboratory on May 9. A $1,500 laptop
computer was stolen from the Gonda Neuroscience and Genetics
Research Center on May 8.
Someone broke into a car at 411 Kelton Ave. and stole an iPod
and adaptor worth $479 on May 6.
A $2,000 laptop computer was stolen from a room in the Center
for Health Sciences on May 6.
A laptop computer and backpack worth $1,060 combined were stolen
after someone broke into a car at 679 Gayley Ave. between May 5 and
May 6.
A $350 bicycle was stolen near Hedrick Hall between April 27 and
May 6.
A $583 freezer was stolen from a room in the Neuroscience
Research Building between April 18 and April 20.
Miscellaneous
A car hit a person near the corner of Westwood and LeConte
Avenues and drove away on May 13.
A fake $100 bill was found at a cashier station at 200 Medical
Plaza on May 10.
Someone was seen screaming and masturbating on the steps of the
Club California apartments on May 8.
Someone threw a bottle at a sport utility vehicle at 669
Levering Ave. on May 6.
A woman’s buttocks were slapped and grabbed
inappropriately by someone at a party near Ohio and Barrington
avenues on May 6.
