Petty Theft A $369 cell phone was stolen from
the women’s lockers in the Wooden Center on Feb. 3.
A $200 cell phone was stolen from 611 Gayley Ave. between Feb. 2
and Feb 3.
A $100 cell phone was stolen from someone’s backpack in
the Ackerman Union food court on Feb. 2.
Using a stolen debit card, someone purchased almost $30 worth of
food at 10918 Strathmore Ave. on Jan. 31.
Someone stole $150 worth of gold restoration castings from a
dental lab between Dec. 12 and Jan. 19.
Grand Theft Diving equipment and a bow and
arrow worth $3,056 were stolen from a garage at 3155 Sepulveda
Blvd. on Feb. 5.
A laptop was stolen from a room in Powell Library on Feb. 4.
A $2,500 laptop was stolen from the MacDonald Medical Research
Laboratory between Feb. 3 and Feb. 4.
Another laptop of the same value was stolen from the MacDonald
Medical Research Laboratory between Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.
A 1998 white Dodge Caravan was stolen from Lot 32 between Feb. 2
and Feb. 3.
Digital cameras, a watch, a CD walkman and other items totaling
$550 were stolen from Anderson D210 between Jan. 28 and Feb. 3.
A black 2001 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from a parking area at
the corner of Hilgard and Wyton avenues on Feb. 2.
A 2003 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from 620 Landfair Ave. on
Feb. 2.
A laptop, digital camera, video converter, and videophone worth
$2,500 were stolen from Sproul between Jan. 30 and Feb. 2.
Miscellaneous One person was thrown down stairs
and another was dragged along a chain-link fence at 612 Landfair
Ave. on Feb. 6.
Someone was arrested after allegedly spitting on someone else
and grabbing their phone on Feb. 4.
Someone walked up to the Bruin Republicans booth on Bruin Walk
Feb. 3 and took all of their fliers.
$19,000 worth of tools was stolen from a Gordon and Williams job
site near the corner of Veteran and Weyburn avenues between Feb. 2
and Feb. 3.
