Petty Theft
During this period three bicycles, three cell phones, three back
packs and two parking permits were reported stolen.
On May 6, an apartment on the 400 block of Gayley was robbed
through the front door and a purse from the kitchen table was
stolen.
On May 7, the passenger side window of a car in parking
Structure 3, level 2 was smashed and its $200 stereo was
stolen.
On May 8, a wallet worth $48 was stolen in the CHS Building.
That same day three credit cards were taken from a purse at Les
Kelly.
Grand Theft
On May 5, a red two-door Toyota Tercel was stolen from the 800
block of Manning Avenue.
Also that day in De Neve, a wallet and room key valued at $500,
were taken. A window screen in a dorm room that day was removed and
a Playstation and computer worth $1,900 was stolen.
On May 6, a laptop, camera and wallets, worth $2,360 were taken
from De Neve Plaza.
On May 7, two black shipping cases with contents valued at
$16,688 were taken from the Neuro Psychiatric Institute.
Miscellaneous
On May 5, a man was found attempting to remove freeway signs
along the East Bound 10 highway.
On May 6, a threatening letter was received from a previously
released employee at the former employer’s residence.
On May 7, eggs were being thrown on Hilgard and Manning.
On May 8, a critical missing person walked away from the ER and
threatened to commit suicide before eventually being placed under
voluntary evaluation.
Earlier that morning, a trespasser was arrested at the Cedar
Bluff building in De Neve Plaza.
Also that day a man’s pants were pulled down by a group of
people at Strathmore and Landfair.
