with the university-owned apartments on Sawtelle being a hot spot
for car theft.

Two vehicles were broken into at 3314 Sawtelle; in both cases
the cars were stripped of stereo equipment. Just up the street
another car was broken into at 3302 Sawtelle; again, stereo
equipment was the motivating force. All three burglaries occurred
within a couple of days of one another, and as of yet there are no
suspects.
