Trenching on Bruin Walk at the entrance of the Intramural Field
is due to the repairs of a leaky water valve. Bricks are being
replaced and will be completed today.

Kerckhoff Hall is currently open to students and faculty.
Reinstallation of spires atop the towers will be completed December
1996.

Bradley International Student Center construction continues.
Trucks enter and leave the site on Circle Drive West. Workers will
control traffic to minimize congestion.

Ackerman Union construction on levels A and B is expected to be
completed in November. Tentative plans are made to move the UCLA
Store into Ackerman in December.

Construction fencing surrounds The Gonda (Goldschmied)
Neuroscience and Genetics Research Center, located on the northeast
corner of Westwood Plaza and Circle Drive South. Pedestrians are
detoured through MacDonald Plaza to the west of Westwood Plaza and
south of Circle Drive South. Trucks enter and leave the site, and
workers control and direct traffic. MacDonald loading dock is open
to vehicle access.

Rieber Hall Dining Room renovation continues with minimal impact
on students and staff. Completion is expected in January 1997.

The Law Library expansion continues and will be completed June
1997. Trucks enter and leave the site, causing traffic congestion
on Circle Drive East. Workers direct pedestrian and vehicle
traffic.

The Royce Hall seismic upgrade continues. Trucks enter and leave
the site continually at Royce’s upper loading docks. Workers will
direct trucks and pedestrians.

The Young Hall South refurbishment continues, updating freshman
labs and mechanical components of the building.
* * *
The Science & Technology Research Building foundation work
continues. Trucks enter and leave the site through Midvale alley.
Traffic congestion will be minor.
